The SMMA1050 has an innovative quick install clamp which allows you to mount the monitor arm without even having to get under the desk. It is constructed from both mild steel and aluminium and is integrated with innovative gas-spring counterbalance technology. Our most up to date design it has a clean design aesthetic and exceptional functionality meaning your monitor can be adjusted with the slightest of effort. The SMMA1050 is identical to SMMA1052 except this is the black version. The desk arm is designed with integrated cable management to provide a neat desk working environment. Ideal for offices, homes, public areas, industrial settings, production lines and many more. Our gas sprung monitor arm allows adjustment in height for standing and sitting:

** - If you have a curved monitor and it has a non-flat (or cage) VESA adapter then you may need to buy a higher capacity arm as the torque load on the screen tilt may be beyond the rating. Our monitor arms are designed with for screens with a centre of gravity less than 20mm from the VESA plate.

The MAA1000 is our innovative quick install smart base compatible with gas sprung single monitor arm SMMA1050 Black. The integrated USB docking station in the base optimizes workspace while providing easy access to quick charging, data transfer and an HDMI 4K port for an additional display. A full-featured TYPE-C cable provides USB 3.0 data transition between the PC and laptop.

Functionality:

Power Delivery USB-C PD - This is a power delivery port and connects to the unit to power it and to charge your laptop but the unit will also run off your laptop charge. For a 100W power supply see 

HDMI x 1 Output - This plugs into your monitor. Check you have a HDMI compliant monitor before purchasing.

CAT-6 Ethernet x1 - This plugs into your network. Cable not supplied. 

USB-C Upstream x 1 - This plugs from the unit into your laptop enabling both connectivity and 87W charging. 

USB-A x 2 - This allows you to charge USB-A compiant devices and also offers connectivity to these devices. Note connectivity compatibility may vary. We have not found anything which does not work with the ports but it is a possibility. 

Result:

When you come to the desk and plug in your laptop with the USB-C cable you will have a network / internet connection, your laptop screen mirrored on the monitor, laptop charging (provided you have a 100W power upply plugged into the PD port) and the opportunity to plug in and use/charge two USB-A compatible devices.

The USB-C power supply will deliver 100W to the Laptop Docking Station MAA1000/1001/1002/1003. It is a generic power supply and is does not specifically need to be bought from Gostand.
