The SMMA1022 is a monitor arm with a single articulating joint. This allows the monitor to be swung away and through more angles than the SMMA1021. As you can see from the table below the monitor has a great range of movement. One thing to note is that the arm will not easily allow the distance the monitor is away from you to be set.
